Minimum Admission requirement for Bachelors of Management Studies (BMS)
To be eligible for admission to the B.M.S. Degree Course, a candidate must have passed the H.S.C. Examination from the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination, or hold a Diploma in any Engineering branch with a duration of two or three years after S.S.C., conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, or an equivalent examination.
Candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks for the general category (in one attempt) and a minimum of 40% marks for the reserved category (in one attempt). No college is permitted to conduct any form of entrance test; admissions are strictly based on merit, adhering to the reservation policy set by the Government of Maharashtra.
When preparing the merit list, weightage will be given to students from the Arts, Commerce, and Science streams at the 12th standard level, as follows: Commerce – 45% Arts – 25% Science – 25% Diploma in Engineering and others – 5% Colleges will accept and process applications separately by stream, and the merit list will be displayed according to the reservation policy established by the Government of Maharashtra.
