To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree program, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
a) Candidates who have completed XII Standard Examination
The candidate must have completed the XII Standard Examination from the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent qualification.
Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate in a single attempt (for candidates in the General/Open Category).
For candidates in the Reserved Category, a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate is required in a single attempt.
b) Registration with the University
All candidates who are admitted to the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree program at the affiliated colleges offering this course must register and enrol with the University.
2. Mode of Admission
Admissions to the B.A. program are typically merit-based, with adherence to statutory reservations for various categories as per the university’s rules.
The admission process will be conducted following the guidelines established by the University of Mumbai for affiliated colleges.
3. Seat Allocation and Reservations
The seats for the B.A. program will be filled based on merit and following the reservation rules as prescribed by the State Government and the University.
The seat allocation process will be managed by the respective colleges affiliated with the University.
